Manager of the Grand Bay Co-operative Credit Union, Che Burnette
The Board of Directors and Staff are proud to introduce Mr. Che Burnette as the new Manager of the Grand Bay Co-operative Credit Union.
Che’ Burnette is a distinguished professional from the Village of Marigot. His journey in education began at Marigot Junior School, followed by St. Andrews High School. Pursuing higher education, Che’ earned an associate degree in Psychology from Dominica State College while simultaneously obtaining a CompTia A+ technician certificate and Certificate in Computer Maintenance and Repairs from the Business Training Center.
Further advancing his academic credentials, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of the West Indies. Committed to ongoing professional development, Che’ pursued additional courses at UWI, including Project Management, Strategic Planning and Management, Law for Human Resource Management, and Advanced Supervisory Management.
Che’ holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from Formato Educativo Business School in Spain. His exceptional dedication to leadership and management is evident through multiple certifications from Harvard Business Publishing in Leading People, Delegating, Change Management, Coaching, and Team Management.
Formally, Che’ served as Junior Accountant at DeFreitas and Associates, Business Development Manager at Education for advancement, Financial Advisor at Sagicor Life Insurance, Accountant and Acting General Manager at the Marigot Co-operative Credit Union, where his expansive education and broad skillset played a pivotal role in contributing to organizational success. His commitment to learning and professional growth continues to drive his impressive career trajectory.
